ShipVolt LLC, a California limited liability company ("ShipVolt," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the website located at shipvolt.io (the "Website"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have with respect to your information.

By using the Website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Website.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the personal information you voluntarily provide to us. The Website has a single data collection point: our contact form. When you submit the contact form, we collect:

Name: as you choose to provide it
Email address: used to respond to your inquiry
Message content: the text of your message

We do not collect payment information directly (any future purchases would be processed by third-party payment processors who maintain their own privacy policies). We do not deploy third-party tracking cookies, behavioral advertising pixels, or user-level analytics tools. Automatically Collected Technical Data. As is standard with any website, your browser transmits certain technical information when you visit the Website, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This information is processed by Cloudflare as our infrastructure provider (see Section 6 below). We do not independently log or store this data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information you submit through the contact form exclusively for the following purposes:

3. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA and UK Users)

Contact form submissions are transmitted via encrypted HTTPS and delivered to our email inbox. We do not store contact form submissions in a standalone database separate from our email system. Email correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, to resolve any disputes, or as required by applicable law, typically no longer than three (3) years from the date of last contact.

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted transmission (TLS/HTTPS) and access controls on our email systems. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and you transmit information to us at your own risk.

6. Third-Party Services: Cloudflare

Our Website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare's infrastructure services, including its content delivery network (CDN) and DDoS protection. As part of providing these infrastructure services, Cloudflare processes connection-level data such as IP addresses, HTTP request headers, and network traffic information. Cloudflare may also provide aggregate, non-user-level website analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics), which is privacy-preserving by design: it does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sessions or websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information.

Cloudflare's processing of connection data is governed by Cloudflare's own Privacy Policy, available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. Cloudflare is certified under applicable privacy frameworks and maintains data processing agreements as required by applicable law. We have entered into a Data Processing Addendum with Cloudflare as required by GDPR where applicable.

Other than Cloudflare, we do not use any third-party service providers that receive or process your personal information in connection with the Website.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Website does not place any first-party cookies on your device. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies. We do not deploy advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, retargeting tools, or any other third-party tracking technologies on the Website. You do not need to accept or manage cookies to use this Website.

8. Children's Privacy

The Website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided personal information to us without your consent, please contact us immediately at info@shipvolt.io. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will take prompt steps to delete that information from our records.
